FDA provides some instructions to investigators for doing combined Quality System (820 and Compliance program 7382.845) and radiation (EPRC 1020) inspections of Medical Device Manufacturers of Computed Tomography equipment. These instructions are at the link provided and should be useful for preparing for inspections for any manufacturer of a radiation emitting device. The approach uses specific critical value and limits to sample the quality system.
