Manufactureres are pushing for an external independent security audit of FDA’s systems fearing their propreitary information may be vulnerable once provided to FDA. FDA claims it was only account information that was compromised not premarket submissions according to Reuters.

Overall approach will be tied to relevant standards and FDA guidance documentation.
